Abstract
Lotte and David performed two pieces: I bought me a cat : an arrangement of an old America folk song by Aaron Copland, and a Cole Porter’s song, The Physician.
TED, The international phenomenon of ideas worth spreading, has for the first time, come to Wollongong. The University of Wollongong (UOW) hosted this very special independently organised TEDx event for a select group of 100 people on May 29 2012. The event saw some of our best and brightest researchers at UOW sharing their life’s work and passion for the cutting edge field of medical bionics; a field which is currently developing the next generation of the bionic ear, bionic eye and conduits that facilitate nerve repair (for spinal cord damage)
