Abstract
It is like a short variety of kogon grass. It thrusts upwards into stiff, thin and wiry blades that bend or fold as they grow taller, incapable of sustaining the initial rigid outburst. It is self-sufficient and incorrigible. One bulb shoots up, multiplies and overruns a whole garden and beyond. It aspires to flavour all of the earth. A ‘fresh lemony tang’ is the most pedestrian way to describe its abilities. To do it justice, one must cite the alchemy it inspires:.....
