Abstract

The well-known oral K+-sparing diuretic amiloide displays antitumor and antimetastatic side-activities in rodent models, which have been attributed to moderate dual-inhibition of the urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) enzyme and the membrane protein human sodium hydrogen exchanger isoform 1 (hNHE1).
