Abstract

Countries around the world have identified the important role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in improving education through curricula reform and the development of a set of national goals and policies to guide the implementation of ICT in schools. Research shows that in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) it appears that a relatively small number of schools and teachers are implementing ICT to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the learning in the classroom. Thus, this study explored organisational factors; practical or material factors; the individual; and the change process that facilitate and hinder the implementation of ICT policy in secondary schools.
