Abstract
The public low voltage (LV) electricity networks are being increasingly impacted by the connection of many small-capacity solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. These PV systems offer financial benefits to owners while bringing environmental ben- efits by reducing the electricity generation using fossil fuels. However, there are technical challenges that should be addressed in order to enable the smooth integration of PV systems to public LV electricity networks.
