SIMO DC-DC Converter with a Multi-Winding Coupled Inductor to Reduce Input Current Ripple

Abstract
A novel single input multi-output converter is investigated in this study. The major advantages of this converter are the zero- input current, common ground which is useful when several devices work, the capability of being a modular structure, and switching under the zero-voltage switching ZVS condition. In addition, the voltage stress on devices in comparison with other structures is decreased. In this paper, the first configuration of the proposed multi-port converter is presented then, its operation principle is analyzed in detail. Third, a comparison between different structures is shown. In the end, the simulation outcomes are presented via PSCAD software to further verify the theoretical analysis.
