Abstract
Euan Hague's intervention raises some troubling questions about the nature and aims of Antipode-and, by implication, other "radical" journals in the human sciences-in the present disciplinary and social conjuncture. As I read his short analysis of the changing content, editorial policy and look of Antipode over its 30-plus year history, I found myself nodding and agreeing with the thrust of the argument: namely, that Antipode has been drawn into "the increasingly corporate world of academia".
