Abstract

Health and teaching students are required to complete many hundreds of hours of unpaid professional placement to qualify. Research conducted in 2023 by the team at the University of Wollongong has highlighted the personal and financial impacts that completion of mandatory professional placement imposes on Australasian allied health and teaching students.
