Abstract
This chapter provides five stories from academic and practising nurses about their journeys along research pathways that have built personal research capacity and contributed to current knowledge about practice nursing in Australia. These stories have been presented because they illustrate how research activities facilitate networks and collaborations between researchers, educators and clinicians, and hence, develop the discipline.
