Abstract
Alcohol is a determinant of health that contributes to significant health problems. The excessive use of alcohol ranks among the top five risk factors for disease, disability and death throughout the world (WHO 2014; Lim et al. 2012). Alcohol is the leading contributor to premature death and disability worldwide in people aged between 15 and 59 years (WHO 2014).
