Transport of gold across composite poly(bithiophene) membranes

Abstract
Transport of gold across composite poly(bithiophene) membranes has been achieved using electrochemical methods. The mechanism of gold transport involves an initial redox reaction between the polymer and gold ions in solution which results in the deposition of gold metal on the membrane.
