Abstract
In 1999 Sydney astrophysicist Brian Robinson wrote of his longtime collaborator, Australian artist Joan Brassil: "There are similarities between Joan's creative process and my own as an astronomer. There is a common link in sharp observation, imaginative interpretation, leaps beyond established dogma.
