Abstract
Dreamscapes of Modernity offers an edited collection of essays applying the concept of sociotechnical imaginaries to a wide variety of historical and contemporary case studies of the development of national and international science and technology projects and policies. There are 15 essays, 13 offering empirical case studies and two theoretical contributions from Sheila Jasanoff, the collections' co-editor. The case studies cover a broad range of historical contexts and subject matter.
