Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the relation of poststructuralism, negritude, and specter of intention in the works of writer Édouard Glissant. Topics mentioned include the attention of his works in the postcolonial studies focusing on aesthetic and political theories, the concept on poetic intention which are often elided and glossed, and the stand of opacity in his book "Poetics of Relation" in relation of difference.
