Abstract
This paper reflects upon approaches to procedural governance in (transnational) criminal investigation. The structure and strategies adopted in England and Wales are contrasted with those in foreign jurisdictions with which investigation managers must become familiar if they are to conclude operations leading to successful prosecutions. Governance is a means of supporting and achieving such outcomes.
