The intention of this short paper is to bring some important statistical issues concerning spatiotemporal stratification, aggregation, and interaction to a community that might otherwise be unaware of them. While no comprehensiveness is claimed, the problems presented occur quite commonly in the analysis of spatiotemporal data.
