The Future of Learning Design Conference

The Future of Learning Design Conference was hosted by the Cognition and Learning Design Laboratory, the ICT Research Institute and the Faculty of Education at the University of Wollongong. Learning design encompasses a range of perspectives on educational design that seek to enhance student learning by focussing on understanding and supporting educational design practice, particularly amongst school and higher education teachers. This one-day event will bring together the latest research and development in learning design through a programme of invited and submitted papers. Themes included: * research and development in learning design approaches and standards; understanding and supporting teachers' educational design practice; and advancing learning design and pedagogical patterns.

Keynote speakers: Professor Peter Sloep – CELSTEC, Open University of the Netherlands, and Dr Isobel Falconer – Caledonian Academy, Glasgow Caledonian University.
