Abstract
In this work we present an analytical and numerical result of the dielectric function of electronic systemswith Rashba spin-orbit interaction. By solving the quantum equation of motion for the electron densitymatrix, we obtained the dielectric function in the mean-field approximation. It is shown that when themomentum transfer q for an electronic transition is smaller than a critical value characterized by the spinorbitinteraction, the static dielectric function increases with q, indicating on-set of a new collective state.
