The Untapped Sex

Abstract
The nominated title for discussion - 'The Untapped Sex' - is inaccurate. It would be better if we added the qualifier 'relatively', for it is certainly true that in the world of chemical engineering women are in the minority. However it is not so in significant a minority as in those dim and distant (and dare I add 'halcyon') days remembered with such genuine affection by those more experienced members of our institution.
