Abstract

A Welcome to Country and or an Acknowledgement of Country ceremony demonstrates comprehension of and respect for the ongoing relationship that Aboriginal people have with their lands. The intention of these guidelines is that they assist and support you in the use of the Acknowledgement of Dharawal Country short film. However, it is hoped that through the directions and examples shared within these guidelines, you will also gain the tools and confidence to undertake an Acknowledgement of Country and to be able to introduce the Acknowledge Dharawal Country short film meaningfully and respectfully.
