Abstract
Limitations of a single effect measure in traditional approaches to economic evaluation and the multi-dimensional nature of effects of palliative care interventions may lead to system- atic under-resourcing where important process of death related out- comes are not included. This paper illustrates how comparison in the cost-disutility plane (C-DU) facilitates practical inclusion of multiple outcomes to better inform funding decisions in palliative care.
