Abstract
Pregnancy is an important time for a woman’s mental health and the beginning of the relationship with her baby. Significant gaps remain in our knowledge about women’s experiences throughout this period. This thesis aims to contribute new knowledge via five studies examining the experiences of pregnancy, mental health and bonding in pregnancy.
