Abstract
This study has the following aims: • to review current practice for OSD in Australia; • to analyse the impacts of OSD basins on stormwater management; • analyse the sensitivity of applying OSD with respect to scaling of models; • compare the use of normal discharge control versus the use of high-early discharge control for OSD; • compare the effectiveness of OSD basins with larger, regional type basins that serve a number of residential allotments in a community; and • investigate the impacts of imposing OSD in real catchments, including downstream effects.
