Abstract
Traditional disposal methods of sludge, such as ocean disposal, burial in landfills and incineration in some cases, has received much criticism and public disapproval on a world wide scale. With this in mind, the Sydney-lllawarra-Blue Mountains Water Board has been looking at new technologies of sludge disposal or reuse, to establish their viability.
