Abstract
An ancillary analysis of the lifestyle-focused Look AHEAD (Action for Health for Diabetes) trial has reported positive health outcomes among North American adults aged 45-76 years with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).1 Researchers of the 4-year randomized controlled Look AHEAD trial recruited 5,145 adults with overweight or obesity, of whom 4,503 met inclusion criteria for the current analysis.
