Abstract

Creating text using digital resources presents new opportunities and challenges for what we know about the writing process. Drawing upon foundational research from Graves, Walshe, Smith and Calkins, we examine the process for creating text from the perspective of Emma, an eleven-year-old child from a Year 5 class.
