Abstract

As educators, events may occur that enable us to investigate educational impacts that we would not be able to research in the normal course of events. Such a series of events recently occurred in Christchurch, New Zealand. Towards the end of an academic year a large earthquake affected the area. At this stage there was little damage and very few deaths.
