Using an electronic discussion list for teaching
Abstract
I first experimented with using an electronic discussion list for teaching in Spring Session 1995 and have been using them since then. They offer a very useful way to keep in touch with a student group, generate a body of often very useful material and can promote a strong sense of group feeling.
