Abstract

Stable patients can be effectively managed in primary care and an initiative to improve liaison with general practitioners can facilitate such people to be followed- up. However, community and inpatient units in a public service are challenged by the ‘frequent flyers’ – patients who show an above-average utilization of medical care.
