In 1999 Sydney astrophysicist Brian Robinson wrote of his longtime collabora­tor, Australian artist Joan Brassil: "There are similarities between Joan's creative process and my own as an astronomer. There is a common link in sharp observa­tion, imaginative interpretation, leaps beyond established dogma.
