Abstract

The article discusses the commitments of the national, regional and international levels to manage the ocean environment in the Pacific Islands Ocean region. It highlights the pillars to strengthen regional cooperation including economic growth, sustainable development, governance and security. It also cites the development of partnerships to ensure the sustainable use of the Pacific Ocean.
