Abstract
In 1978 a collection of 12 stories entitled The Track to Bralgu was published.' This purported to be the work of an Australian Aborigine from the Northern Territory and depicted from within a tribal cultural framework the disastrous impact upon black life of white society in general and large-scale mining ventures in particular.
