Enabling Excellence through Equity conference 2019

Equity Practitioners in Higher Education Australasia (EPHEA) and the National Association of Enabling Educators in Australia (NAEEA) staged the biennial Enabling Excellence though Equity conference at the University of Wollongong between 27-29 November 2019. Th conference aim was to position equity in a strength-based model. This approach enables higher education institutions to recognise the rich knowledge, experience and skills that students from diverse backgrounds bring to our institutions. The conference endeavoured to highlight the outstanding work of enabling and equity practitioners across the sector, as well as celebrate the achievements of our staff and students who have leveraged their experience to achieve excellence.
