Abstract

© 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. This study analyses the information security of ship networking in the Yangtze River Delta region using the integration of Borda method and hierarchical analysis process (AHP). A risk assessment model of information security was established based on six steps, including the design of risk matrix, identification of risk factors, description of risk probability, determination of degree of risk, calculation of risk factor weights, and evaluation of information security. A case study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed model using the datasets acquired from the ship networking system in the Yangtze River Delta. The analysis results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed risk assessment model.
