QL-EMMS drag model & its revision for fluidized dense gas-solid two-phase flow
A drag model QL-EMMS based on the Energy Minimization Multi-Scale Method was developed, in which the local particle force balance in present EMMS models was revised by introducing particle acceleration. It has been verified by experiments that the model was highly accurate and available for many cases. Furthermore, the cluster diameter formula was revised by coupling existent O-S empirical drag model. The new version of drag model QL-EMMSn showed a better agreement with measurements.
