Abstract

Editorial: Vibration is a phenomenon that affects systems such as bridges, buildings, towers, vehicles and aircraft. The protection of these systems against the harmful effects of vibration has become a major field of research in recent years. This special issue has a strong impact in many real-world systems, like vehicles and active suspension systems, buildings, wind turbine systems, and motion systems.
