Abstract

During the past twenty years, there has been a growing body of empirical research on workplace spirituality. Many focus on the impact of workplace spirituality on leadership, and "much of the emergent work on workplace spirituality does not address the place of other key management functions in the enactment of workplace spirituality. In this paper, I report the findings of a study which examined the place of.decisiQn-malOng in the enactment of workplace spirituality of Sri Lankan business leaders. The findings suggest that, a frame of" reference based on a connection with a transcendent and Ultimate reality is likely to be a source of guidance to the Sri Lankan business leader's 'right' decisionmaking.
