Publication history: The University’s Centre for Multicultural Studies was established in 1978 with the joint purpose of pursuing applied research and providing teaching and research programmes concerned with multicultural Australian society, including the role of Aboriginal and ethnic minorities in Australia. The Centre published a wide range of reports and papers on various topics over the years, including a series of twenty two working papers between 1990 and 1992.
