Thermoelectric materials, which can convert the waste heat into electricity, or vice versa, could be a promoting candidate for sustainable and environmental friendly energy supply. In past decades, great efforts have been made on thermoelectric technology, for it has the merits of high reliability, quiet operation due to the lack of moving parts, and less toxicity or harness to the human body or the natural environment.
