Physical activity and sedentary behaviour have been associated with health and developmental outcomes in young children but evidence in toddlers is scarce. The aim of this Doctorate was to conduct a number of studies that add to the evidence-base on sedentary behaviour and cardiovascular health in toddlers (0-3 years) and contribute to improving children’s health and wellbeing. This Doctorate thesis comprises a literature review, followed by five papers.
