Learning to read and write non-fiction in a junior primary classroom

This research focuses on what young children can learn about being nonfiction readers and writers from their participation in a program of Shared Book Sessions and activities. It is naturalistic in that it was carried out in the classroom setting and sought to describe and explore aspects of the teaching and learning which occurred.
