Organic-inorganic hybrids, which contain organic and inorganic moieties within a single structure, offer a wide set of various structures and properties. Therefore, organic-inorganic hybrids and their derivatives are considered as promising candidates for applications in extremely diverse fields such as catalysis, energy conversion/storage, health, micro-electronics, and so on. Herein, organic-inorganic hybrids and derivatives of typical organic-inorganic hybrids, which are zeolite imidazole frameworks (ZIFs) and metal organic frameworks (MOFs), were prepared and used for improving the energy conversion/storage efficiency.
