Indigenous Health: Causes of Hospital Morbidity

Causes of hospital morbidity in 1996/97 and 1997/98 among people resident in the Illawarra Health Area (Illawarra and Shoalhaven), recorded by the NSW Inpatients Statistics Collectionas being indigenous, are reported in this issue of The Illawarra Population Health Profiler. Causes are classified according to the major disease groupings and external (injury) causes in the International Classification of Disease (version 9) (ICD9), andalso selected diagnoses within each of these major groupings.
