Notes
Seven lengthy abstractions from three islands at the end of the world. Languorous, hallucinatory tones drifting across drum/bass conversations and decaying tape and radio. This is the second Sleep release following on their 1999 Metonymic debut Enfolded in Luxury. Selections taken from recordings made over 1999-2000 at the Purakaunui Studio on New Zealand's Otago coast. Sleep are Susan Ballard: synth, viola, Kim Pieters: bass, Nathan Thompson: guitar, synth, bush saxophone, Peter Stapleton: drums, tapes, shortwave radio.
