Both urban rail transit (URT) and regular bus transit (RBT) systems are essential components of a multi-modal transport system in metropolises. The efficient and effective cooperation between URT and RBT systems plays an important role in enhancing the reliability and resilience of a URT system to quickly respond to disruptions. In this study, a resilience enhancement model for the URT network is proposed to enhance its resilience by temporarily adjusting RBT operation. The model considers trains' turn-back operation and passengers' travel behavior under short-term disruptions, and it is solved by developing a two-stage solution algorithm. The model is applied to Chengdu subway network in numerical experiments. The numerical results indicate that the number of passengers adopting the adjusted RBT feeder service increases with the severity of disruption. The proposed model helps to enhance the network's resilience under disturbances.
