Building Performance Simulation (BPS) is a key tool in the existing building enerfy retrofit optimizaiton process, allowing a user to predict energy savings from upgrades. However, little research exists into how BPS is being employed in commercial settings. This paper reports on a qualitative study which examined the use of BPS in the Australian commercial building retrofitting industry.
