Mine Emergency Escape and Response Technology

This paper will present current investigations into the use of vision enhancement and scanning technology that can enable the navigation and manoeuvrability of a self-escape vehicle through dense dust and smoke. This paper will also present research into instrumentation and communication for obtaining information following an emergency event.
