The World Wide Web (WWW) is making a significant impact in the field of mathematics education. In recent years. several thousand web sites have been created to promote the teaching and learning of school mathematics. It is now time to ponder how this phenomenon should articulate with the school curriculum and how the wealth of resources available in cyberspace can be appropriately integrated at the classroom level.
