Abstract

The article discusses participation of Eastern Health's Supportive and Palliative Care Unit (SPCU) in the national quality improvement program Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC). Topics explored include the clinical assessment tools utilized to improve palliative care, the benchmarking outcomes cited by the PCOC facilitator that worked with the SPCU, and the methodologies implemented by the SPCU to ensure PCOC implementation.
