Abstract

[extract] National policy to improve the health of Indigenous people has taken huge steps forward in recent years. After decades of slow progress and inadequate action, COAG has committed to eliminating the life expectancy gap in a generation and halving the child mortality gap in a decade - and provided substantial funding for these goals.
